TRAMA:CITAZIONECatturato dal governo degli Stati Uniti, Mohamedou Ould Slahi (Tahar Rahim) langue in prigione da anni senza un’accusa o un processo. Perdendo ogni speranza, Slahi trova degli alleati nell’avvocato difensore Nancy Hollander (Jodie Foster) e nella sua associata Teri Duncan (Shailene Woodley). Insieme affrontano innumerevoli ostacoli in una disperata ricerca della giustizia.
La loro controversa difesa, insieme alle prove scoperte dal formidabile procuratore militare, il tenente colonnello Stuart Couch (Benedict Cumberbatch), alla fine rivela una cospirazione scioccante e di vasta portata.

EXCLUSIVE: Benedict Cumberbatch and his company Sunny March have come aboard to produce Guantanamo Diary along with ZeroGravity’s Mark Holder and Christine Holder. They will produce with Michael Bronner (who is scripting the project) and Lloyd and Beatrice Levin. The project follows the tribulations of 45 year-old Mohamedou Ould Slahi, a man who was a suspected terrorist and has been incarcerated at Guantanamo bay for 14 years without ever being charged with a crime or having the opportunity to defend himself in court. But that may change and quickly.

The movie tells the true story of a fight for survival against all odds. Captured by the U.S. government, Mohamedou Ould Slahi (Rahim) languishes in prison for years without charge or trial. Losing all hope, Slahi finds allies in defense attorney Nancy Hollander (Foster) and her associate Teri Duncan (Woodley). Together, they face countless obstacles in a desperate pursuit for justice. Their controversial advocacy, along with evidence uncovered by formidable military prosecutor Lt. Stuart Couch (Cumberbatch), eventually reveals a shocking and far reaching conspiracy.
The film is based on Mohamedou Ould Slahi’s New York Times best-selling memoir “Guantánamo Diary.” Principal photography is set to commence in South Africa on Dec. 2.

per come li ha adesso sono troppo lunghi, secondo me però se li accorcia solo (non rasatura totale) . . al massimo poi applicano una parrucca sopra!

Mamma mia che film! Di quelli che bisogna mettersi una corazza prima di guardarli, specie perché tratti da storie vere! Jody Foster è una garanzia: è da parecchio che non vedo un suo film e mi fa molto piacere vederla recitare con Ben
