Celebrities to read questions for Cambridge charity quiz“A-list celebrities including Benedict Cumberbatch, Joanna Lumley, and Ewan McGregor are amongst the stars to record video questions in a quiz to raise money to help the NHS fight coronavirus.
The quiz will be
streamed live on YouTube, on Sunday, April 26, from 7.45 in the evening, and will raise money for the NHS Charities COVID-19 Appeal.
The quiz has been together over the past two weeks by three Trumpington siblings, Sam Gisby, 22, along with his sister Addy, 19, and brother Josh,17.
“The reaction’s been incredible,’ says Sam Gisby, 22, from Cambridge. “It’s not every day you get a video from Benedict Cumberbatch dropping into your inbox.’
There will be six rounds, with ten questions in each. The categories will range from general knowledge, to TV and film, music, sport, and science and nature.
Celebrities will appear in each round, posing questions to the live audience.
There’s no limit to how many people can take part in the quiz.
